Tallangatta Health Service is a rural township located approximately 40 kilometres from the regional centre of Albury-Wodonga in North East Victoria, nearby to the snowfields, located on the shores of Lake Hume in the North East of Victoria, surrounded by snow fields, food and wine districts located within the region.
We are a 66 bed small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a customer focused progressive provider of care to our community, patients and residents with a multidisciplinary focus.

Clinical Nurse Educator or Clinical Support Nurse
Clinical Nurse Educator or Clinical Support Nurse
We are offering a rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator or Clinical Support Nurse to coordinate the learning and professional development of staff and students at Tallangatta Health Service.
Depending on your qualifications and experience we are looking for either a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) or Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) to become a critical member of the wider nursing team, providing professional development for Health Care Workers, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses by ensuring that nursing and care practices are maintained and advanced.
This is a permanent, part time position with flexibility of 4 days per week to suit your family or other commitments.
Selection Criteria
You are passionate about person centred-care and motivated to enhance the wellbeing of our consumers. You will also have;
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Post graduate qualification in Health or Education (CNE only)
- Relevant experience in clinical education and knowledge of undergraduate programs and supervision
- 5 years, experience working in nursing with well-developed and contemporary clinical skills and knowledge.
- Advanced Life Support &/or First Line Emergency Care trained with current accreditation or willingness to undertake training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the THS Values of Integrity, Caring, Adaptability, Respect and Excellence.

Registered / Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - Aged Care/Acute & District Nursing
Opportunities exist for passionate Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to work in our Acute Ward/Residential Aged Care facility, as well as RNs for District Nursing.
These roles will provide you the opportunity to enhance your clinical and care skills in a rural health setting and develop leadership skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
We have permanent part time and casual opportunities available.

Health Care Worker – Community
Health Care Worker – Community
We are seeking applications from passionate and suitably qualified Health Care Workers.
This rewarding role will see you providing support to our home care consumers, assisting them to remain living independently in their own homes through tasks such as domestic assistance, personal care and other social or individual support the consumer may require. Company vehicles are provided for use to attend our consumers’ homes.
This diverse role can also see you providing high-quality care with a consumer-focused approach to our Residential Aged Care consumers.

About you
You are passionate about what you do and want to support our consumers to live life to their potential. You will also have the following;
- Certificate III in Individual Support or; Certificate IV in Disability or; Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification
- Good communication and consumer service skills

- Motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Previous experience in a similar position is desirable, however training will be provided to those without experience in a Community setting

An opportunity exists for passionate and people-focused individuals to join Tallangatta Health Service’s collaborative and dynamic Leisure and Lifestyle team, this role will see you enhancing the quality of life for Residential Aged Care consumers through a meaningful lifestyle program, including leisure activities, purposeful interactions, human connections and well-being activities.
There are two opportunities available:
- Permanent part time two shifts a week
- Casual positions
Selection Criteria
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Cert IV in Lifestyle or equivalent
- Knowledge and commitment to the ongoing provision of a range of Leisure and Lifestyle activities for our residents in an Aged Care Setting
- Strong commitment to consumer-focused care
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, flexible with a positive attitude
- Drivers licence mandatory, manual and/or bus licence desirable
