Volunteering at Tallangatta Health Service

Tallangatta Health Service volunteers make a valuable contribution to the quality of our services and the care that our consumers receive.

Volunteering is time given willingly for the benefit of others without financial gain. Volunteering at Tallangatta Health Service can be a great way to get to know the health industry before seeking employment or studying, or to keep your skills up to date after retiring. Volunteering can also be a great way to do something meaningful with your family or pets and a way to give back to your community.

Volunteers make a significant contribution to the quality of care for our consumers as well as supporting the staff and services on offer. In addition to the personal rewards, volunteer activities also benefit the organisation and the broader community.

Consumer Experience Team

Tallangatta Health Service volunteers are part of the Consumer Experience Team. The team is comprised of kind, energetic, caring, friendly staff and volunteers who actively listen to consumer needs, run a range of group activities as well as participate in one-on-one sessions with residents. The team operates 7 days per week, so there will always be a day and time to suit you!
